NotesThe choices of the bright and almost psychedelic colours help to inform that this is a dreamlike state. The slashes of the pinks and blues mix together to create the jaring harshness of reality, while the patchy greens and purples represent the idyllic and calming state of mind when one is imagining things. The painting is raw and organic and creates a sense of excitement combined with anticipation with an underlying emotion that once can’t quite put their finger on.
